Prison Ministry Conference 2025

From prison ministry, a call to evangelize the nation, transform society and revitalize the church

What is?

The Prison Ministry Conference is a two-day international event entirely dedicated to the ministry of evangelism in prisons. It offers an exceptional opportunity to share experiences, find inspiration and strengthen the network of those dedicated to serving prisoners.

Numerous experiences will be presented and discussed, including the implementation of the Alpha course in prisons and other programs aimed at the recovery and social reintegration of former inmates.

The event is a key time to receive encouragement, prayer and renew one’s commitment to the mission of evangelization in prisons and their respective communities.

Answering the Call

This year’s theme is “Answering the call: restart, renew, restore.” We believe that society and the Church today, more than ever, are called to take the good news of Jesus everywhere, even to the most difficult and forgotten places.

We are convinced that the reintegration of prisoners into society is fundamental to the renewal and regeneration of our community. A journey that requires the commitment of everyone: probation officers, chaplains, volunteers and community leaders, united by a common goal.

Are you a staff member of correctional institutions or other agencies involved in educational projects for inmates and former inmates and projects in and out of prison? Are you a volunteer doing Alpha’s ministry in prison or other correctional or recovery centers? Do you feel involved with Christ’s message “I was imprisoned and you came to visit me”? This call “Assisi (ITA) May 15 and 16, 2025” is for you!

When?

From Thursday 15 May 2025 (7.30 pm) to Friday 16 May 2025 (5.00 pm).
